WOW, time flies!!

So much doing going on, feeling a bit like I am treading water!!

Time to write it out to gain some perspective!!

Let’s see where to start…well since home is where the heart is…

My Youngest is now walking...watch out world, he can't walk straight but he can climb up the stairs no prob!!

My eldest just started Martenelle!! Or Kindergarten in English, I look forward to re-learning French while helping her!! I feel learning a second language or more as a child, can definitely improve the mental and visual aspects of the mind! I knew there wouldn’t be an issue when about 2 yrs ago, she turned to me out of the blue and said..

“momma lets count to 5 in Spanish!, Uno, dos, tres quatro cinqo …”

So despite the ease of transition my blood pressure has jumped 50 points…time for me to re-connect with the Personal Self. The Personal self is the 10th Archetype of the Tree of life, the Physical realm. In the personal self the spirit finds its ultimate home. Whether we choose to make this home a habitable environment is truly up to us. Often we allow our minds to wreck serious havoc on our bodies, conscious or not…and I know intuitively that my blood pressure issues have surfaced to help me return to treating my body wisely and with love. Bad habits die hard…

This is the Card I include in the Tree of Life workshop for the Personal Self/ aka Malkuth

It is shouting at me to listen, I am not perfect -and find that sharing my own struggles to live up to the spiritual principals I aspire to, helps others remember also that life is a cycle. We run through cycles to resolve all that we are here to resolve on this playing field we know as Reality. It’s about Balance, stability and harmony. About remaining aware/ or conscious of how we are living and engaged in our lives.

I will be offering my Tree of Life workshop for Personal Growth via Our Psychic Art later this year. You will be able to purchase the Workshop in bite size sections and we will work one on one and at your own pace to plant and nurture your Inner Tree of life. I am psyched also to be able to offer video conference calls with me as a part of the package ( via Skype or the Video Chat option at Our Psychic Art), I feel that by meeting face to face so to speak we will be able to asses how the information is integrating for you, and even run through the guided meditations or other exercises that you might be having difficulties with. I love to work in person with people, and offering the video chat option I think will make the process more fun and engaging. Once I remember to stop shouting at the camera…ROTFL!!!

The Tree when integrated consciously helps to act as a Harmonizer and stabilizer in our hearts and minds. Allowing us to have a sturdy archetype in our Psyches to turn to when we feel chaotic or out of balance. And since my body is shouting to be heard, its time for me to turn inward to gain some perspective.

I will begin blogging my journey up the tree, and I invite you to come along and see if perhaps this might be something that you have been looking for.

I am also very happy to say I am now an Independent Reiki Master/ Trainer and have already enjoyed attuning two dear friends via distance and video conference, and am looking forward to 3 students attunements hands on locally this fall!!

The influx of the higher vibration energy has affected all of my senses inner and outer, and taken my art and readings to a new level!! It has been very rewarding and I am very great full for the experience and sharing it!!!

All sorts of new ways to share Reiki Healing have come about!! I have also seen and enjoyed my fellow Reiki Folk expanding on their training and healing. One friend creates a Soul Stone with your name on it, and places it in her Garden!!!

I am enjoying my crystal cauldron but can also see that I am going to try out using a water based Grid to enhance its charge. Creating a twelve pointed star to go around my master crystal was totally fun and very helpful!!

The spiral papers are the prayers papers for each person! I love charging it and placing it in the sun in the morning to brighten it up. The full moon was amazing too!!! I highly reccomend trying out sending Reiki to the moon, sun and stars :))

This Mandela was created by me to be able to share an inspired image I had during my first attunement. The story of Snow White and the 7 dwarves has really come to life in me at this time, and the Reiki symbols really lined up well to express the relationship between the symbols for me. This image is based in that. It also has a layer that includes a blessing for all to be able to recieve Reiki Healing from meditation with the image. Feel free to down load and share

What else has been going on?

Well artistically speaking, it’s been an all out EXPLSION on the creative front…and I wish I could just spend all day making art!! IT is the most satisfying thing for me to create art.

This soul tree was for a facebook fan page member, I didn't know anything about him, couldn't even get a photo from his own personal page, so just did it in the blind so to speak. His response was amazing and many things touched upon proved quite real in his life. Creating this image was VERY healing for me!! It turns out he is a Reiki Practioner as well!!!

Soul Trees birth occurred as a part of Frankey’s On Line Psychic Art Lessons!! I highly recommend them, very very affordable and do at your own speed!! The Trees were lesson two, and as soon as this insane rush slows down I am looking forward to lesson 3 of 8 xxx

The soul trees have been a major turning point for me and my own self doubt issues. Channeling is not an easy thing to explain or to re- learn. It took me till now (36 yrs this year, sheesh!!) to finally admit that channel for me is as natural as breathing..there is no need for a major production the channel used for channeling is programmed into ME. So all I need to is focus and engage.

Still there was that niggling doubt…so with soul trees I do ask for name and date of birth however this is more for you than me. For me once I work on the art for your tree, the channeling comes from what I see and sense in the image.

The feedback I get is very validating. So I will keep working and refining them, and enjoying them.

From just individual soul trees, I am now drawn to making them for families, groups, married couples you name it!! Each time I sit down to make one, I can feel my blood pressure drop and my mind relax, so it will be some time before I stop doing these I think.

I am looking forward to attending my first Craft show in November with my eldest. Her art will also be on sale there! Can’t hurt for her to learn early!! We and my mother attended the Goddess festival here in Manitoba this fall, and entrepreneurship was present there too.

The little girls told mine that they would give her free stuff if she found five people to bring to their booth ( of sticks stones beads and feathers) !!! OFF she went to find people; she came home with 2 shells and a couple of ‘rubies’ beads. 

It will be a great opportunity for me to meet people and get my feet wet as I head into setting up my own business. I have A LOT to learn, but the YMCA here offers a self employment program for free!! I am psyched to be able to launch with guidance in a very practical and real sense. Summer is winding down, don’t give me grief…it is, lets just cope ok?!

And with harvest time comes a bit of reflection on where things are coming from and where they might be headed.

My on line Tree of Life test group is winding down in anticipation for my launch on Our Psychic Art. This winter we will be offering a workshop for working with the ancient Mandela, The Tree of Life; A living oracle for personal growth.

I am looking forward to working with others to help them integrate the Tree into their inner landscape helping provide them with the strength and will to follow their hearts and their own Inner Voice of truth, the voice of their spirit.

Following and listening to your heart, is truly what the entire course centers around, we are all born with the knowledge to pursue our dreams passion our purpose in this life, sometimes we need a hand rediscovering what we already know.
My greatest joy in facilitating the learning experience is watching how the Tree comes to express itself through you.

I encourage a lot of trial and error in the workshop, as well as creative expression with each of the 11 Archetypes we cover. One of my students is an exceptional healer and artist, and each of the Archetypes inspired a painting in her, and each one made my heart sing. To see the similarities and the differences in her journey with the tree, to listen to how its impact has affected her life, and her path. I cannot wait to see what more can come!!

My Uncle Robert a talented artist and gifted Intuitive, had helped me create a set of cards to include with the PDF for the workshop, but I wanted something other than cards.

All I knew was, I wanted something smooth and stone like to work with at this time, more abstract in its representation of the Tree and its wisdom. Lucky stones from Gimili Beach did the trick, and allowed for the set to be strung on a wire.

They fit in my pocket, are simple and the lack of embellishment except for the associated color for the archetype, allows me to use them whenever I please, they look like a bracelet. I find it very soothing to feel their smooth cool surfaces in my hands, and the clicking very relaxing.

Creating your own tool for Oracling has to be one of my favorite parts of the process, and I suppose the most challenging for myself and my students/ fellow learners :)
When I was about 17 my brother sister and I were up at our family’s cabin in Gimili Manitoba, when I decided I wanted to create a set of the Norse Runes in a piece of drift wood. I had a Ralph Blume deck of Rune Cards, but felt really strongly I wanted to make my own.

I wanted to see if I could and if it would work, such was my understanding of the intuitive process at the time. I had even made a Ouija board once on loose-leaf and using a pencil sharpener as the plate. I found making an oracle didn’t take away from the mystery of using or working with it.

A bit of my own blood and bitching and time and I had my own set of Runes, made by me in my favorite place, they had tones of mystery in them already and they hadn’t even been used, even the blue obvious Pen ink runic lettering didn’t ruin it for me. I love those Runes and still have them, and very much still feel the energetic connection to my creation, the depth that they hold from my use with them over time.

Creating such a tool is the highlight of my workshop if you ask me. It took a couple of tries, but eventually I created a set of 11 stones to represent the Archetypes.

The ego can really hamper creative exercise, and I am not exempt from the struggle, so if you do go about making your own, leave your Ego at the door and save your self a truck load of hassel.

Now that they are made, I definitely am enjoying working with them. They are handy unobstusive and can go in my purse. So when I am at the park with the kids and am inner screaming… “serenity now!” I can work with a tool that immediately overrides my emotions and takes me right to my souls door. To cross the threshold and work with the opportunities there in, I must only relinquish my wants needs and desires.

Which is helpful these days! My husband and children are my greatest allies and teachers!!! I learn the most important lessons on the home front! An underestimated playing field I think, which is ridiculous as most of our lives are played out there. The home is where we feel safe enough to learn the hardest lessons in our lives.

The Alchemy of the every day, a path to enlightenment to be sure. Seeing the divine right in front of you. NOW.

There is plenty, when you know what you are looking for.

For example, I am many things, Lutheran, witch, wiccan, lighworker, etc…but I honestly never really gave much thought to the “god” topic with my eldest. She is 4 going on 5 or 40…it depends..and I figured we had some time.

I figured wrong, and to be honest brought it on myself…by finaly resorting to the idea of a higher power dwelling within her. She is learning to pass the buck with regards to accepting responsibility for her choices…and I felt it was important also that we deal with her inner self checking mechanism. Experience is key to learning in life, but not all learning experiences leave you in one piece, not that a 4 year old dancing on the ledge of a wet bathtub cares ….

Once I introduced that God lives in all of us, and is spirit or energy, she asked if God was a women. I said yes, figuring that this was not a subject she was going to pursue, however when she later asked if a piece of art with a woman on it was god…well we needed to cover that a bit more.

So now she and I pray at bed time, for our loved ones, and folks she creates. We forgive each other, and try to remember that the voice of God isn’t a real voice, and NO god doesn’t think you need another Cookie…

Parenthood is often given a ‘blah’ wrap. Not a bad wrap, but somehow I find that a large part of the world view is that parenthood is kind of a bailout. That if all you are is a provider or parent, then somehow you aren’t any one…which is ridiculous, as EVERYTHING you learn about life and living happens in the home, heavenly, good, bad, ugly and horrifying happens at home. We are our worst at home. If you want to know what your boy/girlfriend might be like to live with, go to diner at the family home. We are 'who' we are the most at home, whether or not we like that version of ourselvs.
We are the worst we can be at home, were the masks come off. You will learn a lot watching how siblings divvy up work and exist in the same space. As when you do live with some one, those old hard worn patterns of behavior you learned at home, will find their way to the surface in the one place you feel safest.

Today both my daughter and I are disappointed in ourselves, me for allowing a 4 yr old to bait me and letting myself react strongly and verbally in the store…she for not getting another cookie like she wanted. She did apologize for not listening, after a full throated screaming fit in line for groceries, hair pulling and boogers and tears, THE WORKS!!!

Honestly I am learning to ease up on myself; my inner critic is very highly developed and can be my worst enemy when I am frustrated. So I am unsure as to how to approach my lack of compassion for the lost treat, and my subsequent own acting out… Without a mental whipping that won’t help me change anything, and will only feed the pain body that rose up wildly at the store. ( Bain bodies are covered in Tolle’s A New Earth)

My mother never yelled or spanked, others did with us, but not mom…and therein lies my guilt, why can’t I just shut up? I kept asking myself that today, and my daughter, why can’t we both just shut up and stop thinking about what we are not getting, me missing my respect and her what she so desperately wanted? How come I couldn’t practice what I so often preach, take a deep breath, and let it go. Then act?

Why does my daughter, who is soo like me, bring the absolute WORST out in me? Why is it always an argument…

“Kiddo, I know that is what you want right now, but I need you to listen.”

“ Ok mom, but if you don’t give me another cookie then I am not going to listen.”

KABOOM!

Instead I should have just let her cry…that is natural and healing, screaming at her however is not, and hurts us both in ways I can’t even find the words for.

The sane thing, is to let her cry it out, I KNOW this, but when I am reactive completely seem to forget!

The worst thing about it all…every single thing I said to her, EVERY SINGLE THING, litteraly I am saying to myself right now…and as to who I should be listening to when I am about to misbehave? My higher Self…that is what this journey I am on is about, and she is my Master Teacher in getting me to hear this voice in me and listen to it. That is why I brought up GOD with my daughter...perhapes to remind myself to listen more.

I am incredibly greatfull for my children, any light workers out there that want to test their mettle,
HAVE KIDS!! Nothing will test your commitment to spiritual values like parenthood!!!

Every single thing you do, has an impact, YOU remember you were a kid once too. Your baggage with your parents will play out between you and your kids, there is no way around that, no matter how well intentioned you might be. Denial and avoidance of the harshness and frustration and pain that is a part of child rearing and self control, cannot be skipped or avoided. All of life is to be lived and learnt from.

So as much as I am still hating myself and trying not to spoil her from my own issues of guilt, I can’t and don’t want hide from the truth, what I want most of all, is to LEARN and not do it again and again and again….

Re-Energizer Pendant for Root Chakra

What are they and how or why do they work?

Some of the most creative and satisfying ideas are born out of sheer necessity, in my case, the necessity to express ones pent up inner psychic energy, and the necessity to do it without spending big bucks, while also being as green minded as possible. I asked myself –‘How can I create and express without creating more waste? Or at least Re-use what I can?’

I cannot do it completely waste free really, but it is possible for me to make all sorts of green packaging choices to display the items in as well as creating the items with as many naturally (as non toxic as possible) created ingredients, as I can. I am happy to say that Origami is a wonderful art! I had a pile of card stock I thought of recycling, instead I made boxes for my Reiki Re-Energizers. Every bit gets used, the 2 or so inches I had to tear to square the paper, I split and folded so that it cushions the pieces in the boxes and helps keep them from moving around. And it didn’t cost me much but time…which rumor has it is an illusion.

So for the most part my list of materials/tools looks like this;

• Sea Shells, found and bought

• Rock crystal form Sea Salt

• Copper scrubbies

• Gold/ Silver etc.. wire

• Glitter

• Glue Sticks and Glue Gun,

• Vegetable Oil Spray

• Cookie Trays, ice cube trays

• Used bottle caps

• Card stock

• Cookie cutters

• Dollorstore Apoxy Resin ( mask and gloves, which at the time of writing I am still eyeing but reluctant to use…)

• Any crystals that are broken that I may have

• Reiki Energy Practitioner ( kind of a must to make Reiki Re-Energizers but you can adapt this process to any energy modality I think)

• Mod Podge / a kind of acrylic resin that doesn’t heat up, but does however dissolve Rock salt, so salt is best used in the Reiki Room/ Chakra Re-Energizers with Glue as the base. In the case of the more Orgonite process or my “Blue Light Specials “ using the bottle caps for the base to hold the materials, you use it with Crystals, rather than salt.

These are made over a Cobalt blue plate, to charge them with the colors signature energy, and acrylic Mod-Podge with quartz shards. You cannot use salt with this product it melts. But it dries totally clear to the bottom so can be layered differently than the salt based craft.

• The Three Reiki Symbols available to level 2 practioners are what I am able to currently use.

• An accurate image of a 6 pointed star*. This I use based on the ideas of Sacred Geometry/ and David Cousins Chapter of Esoteric Teddy Bears in his amazing and practical, “ A Hand Book for Light Workers”

(You can of course adapt this aspect as well for any shaped star you would like to program your piece with, it’s all about your intention, so reinforce it in ways that make sense for you.)

• Colored plates of glass or colored paper. If you are so inclined you can pour your desired medium, mod podge or hot glue over the colors and they help focus the energy along that colors vibration so can be used for Chakra Re-Energizers. The colors tune the work.

The Six Pointed star has a very inspiring energy, and is especially useful to us as it clears negative or slow frequency energy, DOR energy , and releases from your space. The Reiki is then programmed to fill the space and energize it with its signature.

This is also reaffirmed in the pouring process.

So all the materials I use are dedicated and blessed to raising the vibration of my work, and your body, to match up with Unconditional love.

I have definitely enjoyed pouring my pendants in the summer light, the sun shining and causing the Re-Energizers to sparkle and glint. I am looking forward to some winter work.

The Ritual of Pouring isn’t a bit secret but it is personal, and so I encourage you to do some research and create your own way of pouring your own Reiki or Energy Crafts. It is a form of meditation and creating sacred space. If you don’t practice Reiki but do practice another form of light work, you can certainly adapt this to that work as well. Just use the symbols that support your work in the pouring and dedicating process.

1-set up your space, have it all ready first save your self the hassle of having to stop and find something.

2- Ghassho Meditation, Reiji-ho and if you have had a rough day you might want to Keyoku or Dry brush before starting to rid your space of accumulated slow frequency energy, no need to pour it into your work.

3-In this case, Chiryo is pouring and layering the work, as you work you channel Reiki From the chakras in your palms, heart, and third eye.

4- Once finished with your work/pouring. Clean up, and if you like spend some time in meditation or do the Ghassho style meditation of focusing on the tips of your middle fingers.

Pretty simple.

So far I have been able to create all I want from my sporadic trips with kids in tow to the dollar store/ Wal-Mart.

By combining the essentially Universal energy of Reiki and the Sacred Geometry the craft is able to both clear and refill the space it occupies with love and light and healing.

I have also found that I prefer using the glue and salt form, as it’s less toxic and definitely more natural an ingredient base, organic which appeals to me greatly.

To keep it green I seem to be inheriting a large amount of paper lately, Free, and rather than waste it, its being folded into the boxes holding the Reiki Room / Chakra Re-Energizers, which satisfies me beyond words. I don’t have a routine that allows for consistency in Meditation, however, you can fold a box almost anywhere…also the fold down so well, that I can print my Reiki Healing art on the paper and fold and pack the boxes for future use without taking up a tone of space.

I realize that mass production creates waste, so am limited to what I can do without sacrificing my time at home with my family. I am a stay at home mom, and creating arts and craft while applying the energy and principals of Reiki, helps me to heal and heal others. Knitting, sewing, remind me of what I feel when I have the time to sit down and pour my heart out, lol, almost literally!

I have also really enjoyed the boundaries I have encountered in the trial and error process of Reiki Inspired Arts and Crafts! They have helped me see what is possible, when you follow your heart.

11. The Knowing Self/ Da’at/ Gateway~ The Oracle

This week ushers in the final stage of the Introductions and work with the 11 Archetypes and we all get to start Oracling.

For me Daath, has always resonated with that silver curtain shimmer, mysterious and Smokey. The often ascribed Psychic Image for the Knowing Self is an Empty Room. And there is a type of Echo when I meditate on the Knowing Self, within, signaling space, but its space for spirit, to me its that Waiting Room.

This is all very subjective from here on in, I am simply sharing my thoughts and intuitions on the energies of the Knowing self as I am capable of ‘seeing’ or ‘ interpreting’ in my personal reality. They may be simple or distorted, but this is about the journey not perfection..-’perfection is attained at the end of desire’,- so sayeth the Wiccan charge of the Goddess…( Happy Summer Solstice next week!)

Inner Space, we with our minds (limited) often cannot ascribe a thing to Spirit and ascribe Space to represent it. So the empty room, signals that at this stage in our Involution we have found a way to reconcile our Egoic/ False self and Personal Selves to their attributed locals, and can proceed to see clearly, how spirit manifests within our space…and know it. Spirit is not a thing ultimately one can Identify with in the end. Spirit is beyond this need for knowing, or when we meet spirit in ourselves we cease to need to know.

As we are co creators in our Realities, we need to know, what is our next step, where do I go from here, or most often lamented in human life, WHY?????

This is sometimes what we believe anyway.

The creation of a tool for projecting this Inner Knowledge, is Oracling. Ultimately, we need to remember that at the end we need not identify with the tool in hand, rather we will now have a deep intuitive knowledge of the symbols, and can see them internally, no longer relying on a Physical manifestation of the knowledge to be our sounding board.

This comes after a lot of repetition, don’t get me wrong, but I no longer feel dread about the ever unfolding way of evolution, it’s a joy to know there is always more to learn and experience. When finally you change your mind about your mind, what is suddenly available to you, visible, now with Clear sight or Clairvoyance, will literally floor you.

And motivate you, its like a rocket boost from your soul. Life just pops into clearer view.

Again, lots and lots of practice, learning to listen to your souls inner impulses. The Tree of Life offers a language that can facilitate this dialogue for Involution.

And for personal change.

The exciting part about starting this week with the Group on Facebook is that creating the Oracle is an amazing experience! And the part about asking out loud if you can,

“ How can I honor Spirit today in my everyday?” or some thing similar , and then listening.

This is the sometimes scary part, this isn’t intellectualizing this is practicing the art of Self love, listening.

For me, it is often still one word answers, and no I don’t really HEAR them, it’s the silent voice, my conscience, that Knowing self.

The answer yesterday, was laugh!

And how do you practice laughing? Well smiling a baby will definitely get things going, but if you don’t have one handy I suggest watching a funny movie, or just being aware for the day, of things to have a laugh about. And when you share a laugh with someone, one that just lets you open your heart and really laugh, know that this is your Best self operating, and that its your way of thanking your inner self for its gift of love and light.

This raises your vibration which as we know via the law of attraction, helps with the principal that Like attracts Like.

When we vibrate at a higher rate, slow frequency energy generated experiences can’t cling to our energy. We are able to surround ourselves with more meaningful opportunities and experiences because we have sought to align ourselves with our Highest Good, our Best Self.

As a really wise woman said on Oprah, don’t make your choices from the shallows, from the lows, rise up, take a breath and make a choice from a creative deep head/heart space…well she didn’t say exactly that, but that is the gist of it.

That is my point with my workshop, with my Alchemy of my everyday, to Know where next to go. I do realize JKZimm said it best with “ Where ever you go, there you are”, soon I hope to be aware of this, internally. And see what perspective avails me then!

Won’t that be something.

Until then, I continue to enjoy the evolution of Reiki Healing Art, and have really benefited physically , emotionally, mentally and spiritually from my daily sessions designing and blessing the healing images. I have worked with some amazing people, and really enjoyed exchanging services, and experiencing different modalities of healing. And am looking forward to whatever is coming down the pipes.

In keeping with this weeks ‘lesson’

“ How can I best honor Spirit in my reality today?”

“ Reiki” was today’s answer. My ego definitely wanted to try ‘again’ but the point is to go with the First answer, your aim and attention fixed on the will to listen to only the silent voice of your soul for guidance in that moment. So whatever your “answer” is, Know that it comes from the place of deepest love.

And that is saying something.

I guess Pardon the pun might apply, but holy crap! I am already here!? Where has the time gone, its been a blur and a challenge..just like life! HAHA, the Alchemy of the Everyday!

Today was an amazing day for listening to my Divine Self, lets see…

Started the day(7:30am) with a reminder of why flossing is essential for dental health and mental if you don’t want to spend fourty minutes in a chair, having build up scrapped off your teeth. FLOSS FLOSS FLOSS!! So glad we have insurance now!!

Busy morning, but I was psyched, as later I had my Hair cut appt (first since new baby, so 8mths, in hairdresser world that is a sin!!) and a free facial from Katherine Caines who runs Vitality Wellness Center (www.vitalitywellness.ca) here in Winnipeg. I won it via the Spirit Seekers Conference I went to this spring. And finally worked it out that I could have a me day.

As I was scrambling around trying to do too many things at once, I kept injuring myself, baning my head, foot or toe. I even nailed myself in the face with the Freezer door, so I was a bit worried about making it to my appointments alive and un injured!!

Managed to leave home in one piece, and headed for my haircut, AWESOME!! Must be something in the water over at Ultracuts, as two more of my former co-workers are pregnant, and the gal who cut my hear is on her last two weeks, WILD! Got in a belly rub, man, do I NOT miss that stage!

So one errand done, next on the list, stop by Radiance Gifts and Treasures (http://www.radiancegifts.com/) to drop off the summer Issues of the Violet Ray (http://www.thevioletray.ca/) for them, and the one lady I most wanted to talk to was working. Shauna Sperry who plays the Tibetan Singing bowls and Crystal Chakra bowls! I explained what I am making (reiki healing image videos for meditation) and that I was looking for background audio, and she is currently creating an album exactly like I am looking for!!! Currently she is considering my request, but MAN, what validation for my Guides!!!

As excited as I was and feeling the Trust for my Heavenly Helpers, it started to get a bit worrisome, when their debit machine was tied up with the Fax (24 pager!) and the other line being busy, I still had to make it to my FREE facial! Yikes, so I offered to run to an ATM to speed things up, did so, got cash, cringed at the amount left, tried NOT to do the math that this was affecting my budget by, and raced back. PHEW! Now my daughter and I both have our very own Angelite!! I found some Fire Opals for my Psychic Art workshop’s tool kit, and a Boekenhout crystal, (say that correctly or five times fast I dare ya!)

WOO! They sure pack a punch, since clearing up the grunge in my aura this last week, I am far more aware of the impact sounds and smells are having, and holding those crystals in my left hand sent lovely shockwaves through my body.

Happy and now really late, I jumped back in my Dad’s van ( no car yet…not too pressing, global warming and all…) and did my best to get across town. I was a bit lost, and was going to make a right at an intersection, but was staying in the left lane, I wasn’t worried, just aware that I didn’t want to turn right and that My gang was with me and guiding me. So stayed the course. Turns out the left turn was fastest, especially since I read the map wrong at home, and left the address there too!

So I pulled over called, no answer, and just prayed they weren’t closed! Thanks to the Lady/Angel over at the Insurance place for looking up the wellness center and letting me use the phone!

Pant pant……so got there, awesome VIBE!! And found myself seated and enjoying the Silence, serenity, knowing my mom had my kids and wanted me to enjoy myself, so to stop stressing about time.

As I was late and messed up the scheduling (as a hairdresser I KNOW how this can affect a day!) she came in to ask if I would mind waiting, which I didn’t as I was alone  So she smiled and said, well being in the Negative Ion Chair won’t hurt so enjoy! Boy did I ever! Felt great, my feet stopped hurting instantly, and since the Ions flow to the stimulated region of the body, rubbed my own neck and shoulders, moved to my hands and feet, and channeled Reiki into my body and chakras, she came back in a bit, and began the facial massage, bringing the negative ions into this region ( my skin looked amazing in the car mirror when I left, and still feels and looks alive and brighter!) She then placed an aromatherapy facial mask on me and left me to chill out. I grabbed my new crystals figuring that they could use the negative charge as well, just incase.

As I relaxed in the room, I enjoyed the wall color, but couldn’t help but notice that the imagery was a bit small and watercolor so really did bring much to the space….however, once we were done and chatting it turns out she would love to put some of my Reiki Healing Art up on Consignment!! She cautioned me they might not sell, but I told her not to worry, it was more of putting it where it needs to be than selling for now. And I love her shop, and can’t wait to make on for it, and its patrons!!!

This week is the week of the Divine Self, the beginnings, to fresh starts, to opportunities, to self-less-ness. Having studied east alongside western metaphysical philosophies, two ways come to mind, one way is the western way, MASTER life, then let it go.

And Buddha said something along the lines of love life with all your might, then let it all go.

So you experience all these wonderful life changing events , learn, amass knowledge or things ( they are the same, thought forms we mistakenly Identify with) but we can’t take it with us. At the end of the day, its just us and the Silent Voice that we carry deep within our Soul. Spirit. It’s a mystery, and this is as its meant to be. Once upon a time I used to worry that proving or disproving spirit would end it all, there would be no more life once this question got answered, NOW…

Now I wish them all luck, good luck proving or disproving something that by its very nature is Immeasurable, despite the human ego that wishes it otherwise.

What I took from today, was the trust in my relationship with my/the spirit, at the root we are all one, all my guides and guardians are on the same page, yours too, how do I get this soul to its higher good? What can we do to help this soul meet its needs? The need to remember and reconnect with its source of energy, mine do it often with laughter, like today. A few hard knocks got my attention, and it was truly a perfect day with all the imperfections. Perfect because it went just as it went…I was were I needed to be when I needed to be there, worrying made no difference in a positive way, expect to get my blood pumping.

Home was in one piece, and my kids were sure happy to see me, as I was them, typical mom, miss them even when you would die for a break from them.lol!

They are asleep for now, and I am with my thoughts.

A lot is on the table, and its easy for me to see now, that creating the space for light inside myself, happens when I follow my heart, despite what my mind might say.

And how do I create light for myself? Mindfulness? How do I achieve mindfulness in the modern world? Practice, practice practice…

It’s the whole backbone of my Reiki Healing Art and Workshop for personal growth by climbing the tree of life. I can’t share if I am not doing it myself, for me walking my talk, means doing it daily, and taking the steps to stay awake in life. Sometimes I catch myself asleep at the wheel….but I am not alone, there is always someone willing to give me a good kick in the rear to get me going, and I am forever great full for this reality.

Next up the Knowing Self (0 or 11) and finally, ORACLING with the cards, daily tuning into myself.

Lots to do this summer, and all of it inspiring, challenging, rewarding, and enlightening.

Just depends on where you are standing.

Life seems to be a bit, Fast these days, so much on the go…projects, kids, life in general. I have to say I am grateful for the lovely souls who are running through the first ‘Workshop’ for The Tree of Life; Living Oracle with me at Facebook. I have learnt so much, and not just about group work, about people, about how my life is impacted by my interests desires and passions.

My Goal ideally, is to see the truth of the idea- When you are at peace or happy inside your life will shift accordingly. Just because I am passionate about sharing, and creating Inpsirited Imagery, doesn’t necessarily mean, that the efforts raise me to my highest good. There are a lot of folks doing very important jobs, who can’t stand them, and would be happier washing dishes, in fact their whole family would be happier if they let go of the Idea that they have to BE someone, and just washed dishes and find happiness.

Its why I am journaling my journey, to see ( more objectively) the results of Climbing the Tree of Life. Its easy to get lost in life, and for the Lightworker, I find it horrifying when you wake up and realize you voluntarily fell asleep at the wheel again. That is what Light working is for me, waking up.

We are all co-creators, even those we dislike, and when we are asleep we buy into the drama, and no longer really ‘see’ one another. But when we Wake, even slightly, we See with Great clarity, through all the drama, to the soul hidden in the body. The work done by Etheric Healers is a great gift on earth at this time, Seers they are, as they see the potential for perfect, health, wellness and humanity glowing brightly inside you, then work to bring it out or release it. AMAZING!

In an effort to practice what I preach, and live it, I have had to work hard at my Thoughts, as they are chalk full of old patterns and subconscious patterns of pain and suffering. Slowly but surely, I am seeing the synchronicities and coincidences that bring us into alignment with the Universal Vibe, increasing in frequency like never before and take me into new and often challenging spaces.

The Creative self started last week for me, and it came about in the usual way, via a movie I felt I really didn’t want to watch; “The Social Network”. As much as I use and am on and great full for Facebook, I didn’t want to watch a movie about it. However, I am aware enough of my style of learning right now, to realize that I should probably sit, and just see. ( Usually when I have a strong dislike for something its because it has a great deal of learning for me.)

So what I learnt was, the 2.Creative self can be looked at a bit like Facebook. It is a Force, a creative force, not good or bad, just as it is. Just like Facebook is a force, a growing force.

The Creative self is what inspired Facebook in its creators mind. He says a few times in the movie that its not finished, and that he didn’t want to let it finish, he wanted to let it evolve…and he’s right the creative self is never done.

It is Creation, the rush of potential, of new of change.

Facebook is huge and ever growing and changing, as are its structures, and rules of conduct. For now the new group format makes me nuts, but testing my workshop under its format has enabled me to get creative with how I share my information with the Group members.

This helped me understand that indeed the Tree of Life does evolve, and shift and change and grow, just like life, and the materials and information I present will shift and change and grow, and this is ok! Just because the old school world, likes it hard, fast and finished doesn’t mean it works for me, or is indeed right for me. My heart knows even when my mind or intellect is not yet up to speed. My ego hates it when I just jump feet first, but generally its my heart and soul that I am following, so I worry less.

Yesterday as I started to stress again, about making deadlines, getting it RIGHT, being knowledgeable about my subject, putting Reiki Healing Art as a form of art on Linked In, just putting myself out there, feet first, I had the opportunity ( THANKS GANG!) to receive ( on exchange) An Emotional Code Healing from Anita Fisher , and a Long Distance Energy Healing and Reading from Cheri Kussavage. The experience was life altering and inspiring, I am very much looking forward to creating Personalized Reiki Healing Art for both of them!!

AMAZING!!! Both!! Working with both of these Healers was amazing, I highly recommend the work of both!!

Its easy to feel like you couldn’t possibly learn more, that there is no more mystery in you to be discovered. But, YAY, there is!!

With Cheri’s reading, the AHA feeling hit me immediately. That morning I had switched my turquoise shirt for a yellow/green one,that made me feel UP. I had good energy yesterday morning, was clear, and dressed early. ( lately not so much up and adam, more groan and roll out of bed)

When nap time came and I had my coffee in hand I eagerly opened her email, I felt tingly. The first words were,

“Healing color: Apple Green”, TOTALLY! , I have been thinking of painting my bedroom a yellow green, a vital color. ( it was recommended that I wear it over my heart to continue to connect to my highest good)

For me a reading that picks up on where you are is the best kind! The color connection is huge for me in communication, especially the Psychic kind.

As well, I have been hearing the term, Like attracts Like for a little while now… and kept wondering why…When I read;

“Removed programming in 7th layer of Maja’s aura. Maja’s truth to “Law of Attraction” plays out differently then what the best-seller books say. Maja’s information includes “like-attracts-like”, but there is a deeper level of understanding that Maja has learned from her many past lives.”

It all started to click…its still processing as I type.

Obviously there as a great deal more in her healing session, and all of it amazing! She touched on issues that needed dealing with, but I had no way of explaining them in words, she saw right past it it to the need inside. I am so great full!!

And my homework is;

“Next Step: Eat green apples while smiling. Use a few hours to play dress-up. Gaudy make-up, teased hair, high heels, layered clothes. After play, shower and feel the essence of the new you!”

Obviously there as a great deal more in her healing session, and all of it amazing! She touched on issues that needed dealing with, but I had no way of explaining them in words, she saw right past it it to the need inside. I am so great full!!

Anita uses the Emotion Code and Kinesiology to test her answers. (I am familiar with her tools as I am with Cheri’s)

We did our session over the phone, which always throws me as I struggle with the desire to see the person and feel their personal energy. But Anita was great, and worked through my baby being up. He was definitely meant to be, a part of the healing session… as we noted when we began the actual releasing aspects. The words were barely out of Anita’s mouth when my baby spit up. Lol! She also went into detail about how “Like Attracts Like” HOW AMAZING IS THAT!? (We were definitely all on the same page yesterday! )

As we went through the list of things I was aware might be interfering in my ability to digest or process energy, I realized how scattered I was. How overwhelmed I am still feeling. And that my wee crying jags are my method of processing this healing. I have never been fond of crying, but when I finally let go and just bawl, I feels SOOOO much better. I know this is programming, as I remember observing how easily and with love my Amma cried when I was young, and how I judged her on it. MAN, that cliché about becoming your parents, ever TRUE!

( Or in my case of many mom’s a bit of all of them. I have one main mom whom I love and owe my life to, but over the years I have come to collect many mom’s they are all amazing!)

Now I understand how tears heal, through laughter and through sorrow. Tears and necessary and vital, and I should definitely give myself permission to cry more and leave my daughter be when she cries about not getting what she wants.

We covered a lot in one hour!! We even managed to delve into the pain bodies of my son and daughter, no easy thing to face. The Karma in your kids energy that YOU put there because YOU are sleep walking!! We worked on my daughters growing pains and as she is definitely and INDIGO child, some other issues that were upsetting me. She had told me she was dreaming my nightmares for me the other day, I as a light worker/ witch/ heck Lutheran was at a complete loss. How was I going to take them back or shield her or just stop her from sponging them out of my space. She does this as she is a natural born healer, we enjoy Reiki together, I certainly wasn’t doing that at 4 yrs.

My homework from Anita is

-Stress less, if I have to freak, don’t do it near or in front of the kids, they are too sensitive.

( I know they are, I have to watch my thoughts when I hold them, or rock them to sleep. )

-Review the truth about abundance and call on AA Michael more, especially when dealing with monies.

- Enjoy getting creative with my kids, concerning their aura’s and shields, and help them learn to cope with the draw backs to being a strongly Empathic.

- Research more in-depth Indigo kids, keep an eye out for a counselor who is educated in this for type of therapy.

-Accept my healing and let the pain and suffering that I have mistakenly clung to go.

The only after effect of all that purging and clearing, was a deep desire to sleep, and I was so tired!! Baby had gas so not so restful a night, but I feel good inside myself today. Ready to play dress up and leave the outcomes be and just enjoy the Creative Process. So PLAY, REST, and CREATE SPACE inside and out for Spirit to live.

So this week ushers in the Silent Self, known as Binah in the Traditions of the Tree of Life. The Great Mother, the Holy Ghost in the Christian Traditions, the Cauldron of Sorrows...

It is with the silent self that we gain and utilize the principal of Understanding and Acceptance. As much as I dread its sister sphere of the Restrained Self (5) (- See blog; Kicking and Screaming into the light) to this Archetype I turn naturally. From the perspective of the Spirit, the Silent Self is the Cup or early Containment for the Universal Energy that is shot forward from its sister in Chokmah the Creative Self (2). The Silent Self, like a Womb retains all this Force and Forms it into ‘some-thing’. We see this process of clothing the Spark further down the tree in the relationship with the central archetype in the Higher Self (6) or Tiphareth, as the Soul prepares for the final vehicle of the personality on its journey into Manifest reality.

The Energies of the Silent Self are often difficult to process as it does involve an aspect of Grieving or letting go. Which all the archetypes on the Left pillar reflect. Refining, purging, analyzing and processing. Then ACTING. Grief is a process, to be undergone and move past. We often get stuck in the grief and feel guilty if we move from it. But as Binah or the Silent Self illuminates, death is a part of life, as is decay, without the, we wouldn’t not know Regeneration. The Rebirth.

When we cling hard and fast to what we mistakenly identify with, we are having difficulty working with this Archetype. Hoarding or denial is good indicators of said difficulties. Once you do find your way to reconciling the conflict, however, the Space and Peace that the Silent Self is parent of, fills you with Faith and acceptance, for the way things are, and for the way we all have to travel. The NOW is the gift of the present moment. In the present moment, silence is golden. We hear past the chit chat of our Concrete Minds and are able to listen to the silent music that is made by spirit in the universe.

Watching my life this week, as been tinted with serenity, I haven’ had for some time. Sure things are still crazy busy, all over the place and chalk full of learning opportunities for me. Like Proof-reading my Reiki Healing Art video Promos better, the honesty of one FB individual is greatly appreciated, knowing that the art and the reiki is nice but that the spelling almost ruins it for some folks, helps me value slowing down and re checking, re evaluating my work. Sure this seems OBVIOUS for most, however, for me, I learn by doing, and going back, might seem hard, but for now it is just the way…ways change…thank goodness.

So this week, I approach keeping in mind, Silence, and Service. Most importantly letting go of all the Things I hold to describe myself…for example, its been amazing, life changing even, my work with Reiki Art, the Alchemy of two of my favorite, Soul Nourishing activities…but they don’t make up ‘I” or the real me. The real me, clings to none of the things I value now. Even the Great things held in my future, hold no more value than the now. It’s just another Hat, another layer of clothing, that in the end I will be asked to remove to receive the Truth of my existence.

The Buddha once said something like, love the world with all your heart then let it go. I have had major trust issues since childhood, and I believe that at this stage in my life its time to see past the feelings of abandonment and betrayal, and simply allow Love to lead me. Be still/ silent and KNOW as the old axiom goes.

The Silent Self lies on the other side of the Void or abyss, so is truly as far as Resting goes, the ultimate Rest stop on the journey, rest and BE.

One way into the Silent self is meditation, through breath. In and out, and in and out….it is the go to method to relax anyway, toddler having a tantrum or mother having a fit of frustration, take a deep breath, in and out…listen to your breath…it holds the key to peace.

And lastly for mostly me and anyone else who needs it,

“An angry man opens his mouth and shuts his eyes.”

The pitfalls and potentials of life and living, TRIAL and Error, the 4th (and 5th) Archetypes; The Creative Self

I really didn’t expect to finish up with last weeks Archetype; I ‘knew’ it would extend into this week. Karma after all, knows no boundaries.

So this week’s journey began with this knowledge that this weeks lessons would still entail, testing. As well as taking a hard look at what I have been ‘nourishing’ my Involution with. Well I tell ya, it’s sure not with Sleep.

And as much as I ‘knew’ and recognized how important it is to get some sleep, it just seemed futile to even try to get a nap in. This morning when I woke up with my Right lymph node in my throat swollen, well now I am AWARE of what lack of sleep can do to our bodies.

I took a mini nap with the baby on the couch, and applied Reiki to the area and drank a lot of water. It is less swollen, but still there. I think a nap today is in order! I will have to enlist the aid of my Hubby this afternoon, if the kids are getting on board with Mama’s nap. 

So along side my sleep deprivation I learnt a great deal about, how I function under pressure, and whether it’s time for me to take a look at those coping mechanisms and discern if they apply to the old or new me. Some coping strategies can stay and some need to go.

For example, dwelling on Frustration, gots to go. My efforts to create a second page, that wasn’t a fan page, for my work on facebook, just ended up confusing A LOT of people, myself included, and a much admired friend was the voice of reason. I deleted said account, and solved the problem of my photo album privacy issues, by slowly and painfully putting in the 50 or so close family and friends on the custom list. So that is done and I feel much better. Still frustrated with my Copyright violations with my Video Study Guides in the Tree of Life; A living Oracle focus group, but they were repetitive and a bit un inspiring anyway. My aim to make sure All the art work and imagery I use be entirely mine means I have some more stock to create.

I think for summer I will engage in a photo collecting quest for the 11 archetypes, so that I have more footage. I am still on the hunt and creating music for the videos, but am not in such a hurry anymore. PATIENCE is a virtue of the Silent Self and that is next week, so it’s timely to apply some. It’s also a very healing coping mechanism. Especially with 2 young kids. I found that trying to work with them and deal with the ‘setbacks’ on line very challenging, and had numerous ‘pep talks’ to keep a balance with the two. Shutting the computer off helped, as did deactivating the second account.

Being an example is a strong aspect to this archetype, we are all our own leaders, believing in ourselves is necessary to allow us to help others believe in themselves. What I do right now, my daughter is soaking up like a sponge. And I woke up to that this week. How I cope with self created stress is going to give her a blueprint of how she can cope, so ….in light of that I have revisited my impatience and verbalizing of said frustration.

Yesterday was a good time to put it all into practice. We were having a Yard Sale. The Great Spirit must have been in our space, as we actually picked the perfect weekend. A week full of frigid temperatures, rain, and disorganization, ( I was still discovering via the Restrained Self (5) what DIDN’T work, so going through all of our Stuff was an initiation into “ Just DO IT!” attitude! This weekend being the first of the ‘summer’, meant everyone, schools and community organizations were having garage sales. So even though the only signs the dollar store had were tiny, it wouldn’t matter, we would be seen. A house at the end of our street was having an open house, and another family garage sale was on our street, we wouldn’t be missed. Its also the Free Stuff Weekend here in Winnipeg, were you can put your items on your curb and people looking for things can just take it away. We ended up dropping of the items that didn’t sell at the Salvation Army anyway, and so did many others by the pile at the drop off door.

8:30am saw the first van roll up. Man, there are some diehard yard salers!! Yesterday could have been very ugly the potential was all there, but it didn’t interest me, my pain body wasn’t all up and in anyone’s face. Rather, the suns warm rays eased our anxieties as did smiling at the folks coming to check us out. Sharing a smile and a good mood with another is very en-lightening. The baby napped the preschooler played with the kids that came with parents and sold items. She was right in there with some Hutterite women who came by. We weren’t interested in making money, just in creating space in our space. SO people got a lot of deals and through ins. By 3pm we were packing up the unsold items for good will. We made enough to buy our daughter the Princess bike with training wheels she has been drooling over for some time. Which made all happy.

Later even though I could barely keep my eyes open, the kids and I were horsing around and I laughed, and felt something shift. Inside my chest. I worry A LOT, I know its counter productive in a big way to the Law of Attraction, and work to ease up on it, but all the same old habits die hard. This laugh stretched something in there, opened it up. I sat with the discomfort for a few minutes. It reminded me of the tearing or stretching feelings during labor. Painful but necessary... so I took a deep breath, and filled that space with it, and it opened a bit more. I looked at my children, and smiled and felt the moment with them, and finally slowed down. And just enjoyed that moment with all of myself. No matter what hardships we feel we are enduring in our lives, there is always space for the divine, always time for a laugh and a smile, and letting go. When I let go of all that was stressing me out, and just accepted what was in front of me, I could feel and see the heaven in my earth. From my current perspective, the ultimate aim of our Divine Spirit is manifesting in the Physical world, so there is no reason to try and escape the world as it stands for me or for you. The key is accepting it. The Nourishment for the soul lies in acceptance and love, not avoidance and grief. We might suffer to grow, but we LIVE when we let go.

The path between the 4th and 5th archetypes is represented by the Tarot card STRENGTH. It’s usually depicted with a woman holding open the jaws of the Lion. Symbolically you could spend hours analyzing, but my aim is personal growth. So for me, embracing my role whatever it happened to be and going with the flow, brought me around to my true source of power and nourishment. My soul and its music. Music was the final key in my lessons of the path of Strength, it sooths my heart and opens it at the same time. Just like Reiki. So whenever I felt half crazy last week, I remembered a tool I learnt with the early years of my daughter. Putting on my MP3 player and listening. I am not exactly sure why, but it heals in ways I can’t explain. I have always loved music, as it can move me, create potentials for shifts. As a kid, music was everywhere. Even now in the house, the kids sleep better to music, I sleep (lol) to the same via the baby monitor. Music is Magic, it is the sound of the word of God or the Great Spirit’s light. Even black holes make music. The world is not a silent place. Music for me is a gateway to my inner world. Singing especially, though I don’t enjoy hearing my own voice, I have found my self consciousness vanishes when I sing to my children, so I do it often and with great pleasure, watching them smile changes me for the better every time.

I watched Oprah’s greatest lessons show this week, and at one point she spoke with an Author, who said that you need to ask yourself, when your child comes into a room or you enter, do you smile? OR does your critical self emerge?

A good question and I knew the answer.

The 4th archetype is also a celebratory energy. Celebrate your kids when they walk in the room, don’t wait till life changes and you realize it via suffering, learn from the lessons of others. My daughter is at a very challenging age, and sometimes the critical side of me rises too fast, and it hurts us both. So for now, I have been celebrating her presence, and learning to apply it in an every widening ripple. And when it all seems too much, I can take a deep breath leave the room and keep breathing. Without breath you can’t do anything, and when I am stressed it definitely gets shallow.

Actualizing the lessons in my everyday, providing an anchor for my divine spark, can be challenging, should be challenging!

My everyday life is my anchor and my salvation. Trial and error lead the way. Having purged a bit and made more space, I feel open Restored, still need a nap though; my Gang is very clear on this. I feel more stable and ready to complete the integration of the life nourishing energies on the Pillar of Mercy on the Tree of life.

My copy of Frank.L. Baum’s classic Ozma of Oz, caught my eye this week and I think I will treat myself to the feast it provides for my imagination, and pursue old and new interests that stimulate and feed my soul – spirit connection.

I also have a whole list of shows I have missed amidst all this work on my PVR….that sounds relaxing. 

Just what is Reiki Healing Art anyway?

I have been creating Art in various forms since my childhood; I learnt early on that it made me feel better when I drew. My mind could shut off and I could relax in that inner peace and quiet. They say life happens when you are busy doing other things…so in recent years with husband and kids changing the inner landscape, art seemed to have taken a back seat for a while. I was suddenly limited to doing what I could during Nap times and braving the insanity that ensues while they are awake and including them in the process. (Consequently my eldest now, likes to apply ‘Enertgy’ to everything.)

Two years ago I received both my Level 1 &2 Usui Reiki Attunements. ( You are attuned to Reiki Energy at this time, I am hoping to receive my level 3 or Reiki Master status) That is when I had my AHA moment. It was starting to become clearer for me what I do when I am, doodling , I am pouring myself into my Art, in fact its a form of meditation, where I am able to open up to higher states of consciousness.

Spring 2011 saw a resurgence in creativity as my second child became more independent of me, and a sort of Renaissance in my Artistic Endeavors burst forth, which I have come to call- Reiki Healing Art. (to my knowledge at this time, which may change, I am one of few who are doing this form of Reiki)

It basically breaks down like this, I prepare and open myself up to the Universal Energy of Reiki, and then as I go out into the world, I channel the energy through my hands, heart and eyes, not to mention my chakras (astral/etheric energy centers that transmit, translate and receive light).

Once I have an image or impulse- a place to start, I again consciously open up to Reiki, and channel as I work the image digitally. Embedding in the work the sacred symbols imparted to you at your attunement. (Some artists have shared these, for me there are reasons they are secret, so they are included and charged/blessed within the image, but not a focal point of the art. The art is art, the Reiki is inside it.)

The natural phenomena of Lightening striking is a good metaphor for how Reiki Healing Art, works. Traditionally the Art of Reiki, is the healing art of touch or gentle laying on of hands. The Universal Light Energy, available to us all in some way, is transmitted through the channel to the body of the patient. Like attracts like, therefore the holy light in my body resonates to the light and yours, and we create a conduit, for healing, love and light. Yes, opposites attract as well, and in that vein, love and light is attracted to the areas where this is NOT in your body or aura, as well as mine, as Reiki Heals both the channel and the patient. Nice hey?

With Art when you appreciate it, you are on a level opening up to spirit; you are In- spirited or inspired. It lifts you up closer to your highest good at that moment, if you allow it. So Reiki Art is an alchemy of Reiki energy being charged and pressed into the digital image, when you gaze at it or appreciate it, or it moves you, you are again opening to spirit, and the Reiki, Universal Life energy, flows into your Aura, signaling to your bodies natural healing mechanism to get going. Like Lightening, it needs to have a source on the ground that attracts it. The Reiki Healing image is your source, or grounding principal, holding a continuous charge with Universal Life Energy. To access it -all you have to do is, enjoy it.

The image is ‘timeless’ in the sense that it doesn’t just provide a temporary ‘fix’, or to put it another way, there is no follow up session to our work, you have an image tailored to you for a lifetime. The only time you would want another is for specific ailments or you would simply love another beautiful inspirited image to gaze at and open up to love. Reiki can be transmitted through time and space, so the healing knows no boundaries, this enables me to work online with folks, as well, it allows for less packaging, which helps my conscience concerning creating waste. (Custom framed works are of course available they are just in a higher price range) It also allows you to spread the love around, if you want put it on your Screen Saver, wallpaper, cell phone, coffee cup at work.

I feel I have found my calling, the daily work of channeling and creating art work or other Reiki inspirited crafts, has lifted my vibration and grounded me equally. I am enthusiastic to be able to work to place Reiki Healing Art in offices and waiting rooms. Why offices? I can’t think of a better place where we shut down while waiting, to be able to enjoy beautiful art and the benefit of unconditional love. It’s my way of paying it forward to my fellow man, to make waiting rooms and hospitals, dentist offices, daycares, the list goes on, a more pleasant and uplifting dare I say it, IN-Spiring space to be in.

That is how it feels some days, it exhausting getting in my way so much. The Restrained self, not sure if I am keeping this title yet…I have Karma, work to do on a soul level with the Energies of this Archetype. I dreaded this week, as I am aware I have some blind spots. LOL, to say the least.

I couldn’t approach this archetype with a direct line. I had to come at it from the side, and look at the surrounding archetypes for a handle on it. The overall meaning is clear to me, but when I try and narrow it down I suddenly start thinking in AKA, anachronisms…the powerful self, the resistant self, the hunter?, the warrior self…which actually helps clear it up a bit. Ralph Blumes books on The Runes, are some of my first ‘teachers’ and in there I remember him saying, that The Spiritual Warrior needs to trust THEIR process and realize that the battle is with the SELF.

This archetype holds all that FORCE from its sibling, the Constructive Self. The 5th archetype also traditionally known as Geburah, is responsible for re-assessing. If the 4th Archetype is the Law provider, then the 5th is like law enforcement. The application of the Law of the Universe, or Love.

I know I have Soul Work with this Archetype, which is why its difficult for me to see clearly. This one I need to endure, or work through. The ordeal in initiation.

The everyday alchemy that came about this week, was of all characters, Scooby Doo and our Federal Elections. I am happy to see that the Leadership of this country (4th archetype ) has an opposition that will actually provide a checking process that will help get things done, instead of being jerks and just holding up the process because its not YOU in power. What happened after President Obama was elected by the Republicans was so off-putting, its was unbelievable. As opposition your job is to check not just hold up the process.

Anyway, politics makes me literally crazy sooo on to better topics..like Scooby Doo.

Did you know there are 4 or 5 different cartoons for this show now? And my daughter and I have been watching all of them for a couple of months now. I love that she loves it, but it got me wondering. With this week being about the Mighty self, how did Scooby Doo and the Mystery Crew fit in?

Detectives!!!!

Agents of Law enforcement. Following clues to solve a mystery!! Isn’t that what I was striving and aiming for, solving the mystery of my souls work with this archetype??

Some thoughts regarding the symbolism in Scooby Doo, lets see..

Well there are 5 characters (not including the Mystery Machine) in the story. 4 Humans and one Animal, a dog, Man’s best friend. And 5 is the number associated with the 5th archetype. As is the 5 pointed star or pentacle, whose energy has a powerful neutralizing or policing effect on the lower or negative astral energies, also very good for protection, and banishing. (I have always loved drawing the 5 pointed star...didn’t do wonders in Sunday school…)

So four humans like the four guardian angels around a loyal soul. Calls to mind the World card in the Tarot. LOL that would be a fun deck, Scooby Doo Tarot deck.

In the story, the 4 friends, 2 female and 2 male ( a nice symmetry) , seem to each bring a unique gift to the table, Fred and his trapping of bad guys skills, Daphne and her courage, Velma with her smarts, and Shaggy with his appetite and loyalty.

Shaggy and Scooby have a very interesting relationship. They are the laziest, cowardly, couple in the group, and they often do everything possible to avoid the monster altogether…hmmmm..Seems me and Scooby Doo Do indeed have something in common! (Thanks Higher Self!!)

So the cowardly couple…often run away and end up facing off against the monster, and finding their courage and VERY creative ways to catch and reveal the monster for what it is, some greedy human on a power trip.

Who says at the end of every episode, “and I would have too, if it weren’t for those meddling kids.”

No matter how scared and ready to run Shaggy and Scooby are, for a couple of Scooby Snacks they will scale Mount Everest! They always rise to the occasion. Each member of the group working together ensures their success. It’s not just one individual, but ALL that must meet the challenge to succeed.

I can’t remember why the Salvation Army comes to mind so strongly when I think of this archetype, but I believe it’s in there due to the nature of Army. Here we have an organization that is designed to go out and help raise others up who are having trouble getting on their feet in the world. Fearless and with love as their mission. Well we were taking some of my eldest child’s toys to them so she can learn to let go (also a 5th archetype lesson) of things, she did ask me;

“Mom, why do things have to change?”

I thought for a second, scrambling for an answer I could live with telling a 4yr old, and found;

“If things didn’t change your baby brother would stay a baby, mommy and daddy would still be babies. If things didn’t change you wouldn’t grow and be able to measure your height on the kitchen wall.”

She is still processing, but she did get the gist of it, I said the Universe is always changing, and since we are made of it, we change too.

She mirrors me so well, another lesson of the 5th archetype, despite my daily channeling work with Reiki, and I am suffering sleep deprivation due to the teething of my youngest. And it makes me irritable and angry and my eldest mirrors this behavior which immediately puts me in check. I want to help her learn to cope with stress effectively, so having her watch me learn to juggle it all, is helpful if a bit RAW for her. But she is learning, and so am I.
As we wandered through the store, looking at things we could actually afford, and putting it down, she couldn’t decide on her toy…I went over to help her, and we found a Scooby Doo Toy Game, where you turn him on, hide him and find him by listening for his voice. (I laughed and thanked my guides when I went to open it at home, it was BRANDNEW never used once, and the batteries weren’t even in it! For 4$ that is awesome!! Scooby-dooby-dooooo!

The fifth archetype also has strong ANALYTICAL properties, so taking time to Break down what is going on in my life is important so I can discern where to place my next step, what is in my heart as I take it. Does this work, or does it need to be rubbed out and restarted?

Well ask and ye shall receive, I am so psyched about creating my Reiki Healing videos that Copyright violations flew right out of my mind. Everything in the video is mine, except the music. Arrrgh!! Almost got my facebook page shut down and YouTube sent me a message that explaining what was going on. So,

CALLING ALL REIKI HEALING MUSICIANS!!!

I can’t find any software on my computer to make my own music; .that might just be too hard anyway…

But I am going to recast my net, and stop the movies until all the material is mine. Yes I could just download music who’s copyright has expired, but as fate would have it, my anti virus software popped up screaming that it was blocking something. So I logged off and ran the crap cleaner. So no downloading of any music! CHECK.

My dad and a few fellow facebookers are musicians…so maybe I should sleuth that out!! And partner up with someone. My younger sister would be an excellent choice with her love for music; however she is MIA in Newfoundland, and not interested in reconnecting at this point.

I miss her. If she reads this, I miss you!!! I wish you were here. Your niece loves to cartwheel and your nephew has your eyes. Sighhh…

So this weeks exploration into the mysteries of the Mighty Self, have been very interesting, and useful! I don’t wish to break the law, love or copyright. So I will readdress this, correct it. Perhaps Corrective Self might be the best title to come to mind.

As for Scooby Doo, there is definitely more to that symbolism, for another time.

Reiki Healing Art/ Musical Meditation

This was alot of fun to work out. I spend alot of time in Trial and Error. But this one was way more relaxing to do. For me it was because of the color, its like watching a fish tank, all the flashes of color and brilliance.
Reiki is generaly defined as Spirit Guided Life Energy. And I am certified with Level 2 Usui Reiki. And enjoy on a daily basis the benifits of working with Energy. Most especially of late, combining my passion for art and creating, and Reiki Healing.
A local radio station, Hot 1o3 has The Art Foundation.

And they called and said they liked my Art and would I be able to drop a couple by to hang in their offices!! TOTALLY I DO!! LOL.

That is the whole idea, to put this form of Art Healing in environments that might not generally be conducive to healing energies. A music station would be alot of fun in my imagination...but its still an Office so....has its share of drama I am sure. So I am PSYCHED to print them out and frame them! Just have to pick the two that belong there...that should be interesting. With the next weeks journey being into the Restrained Self or the Courageous self...life should get interesting. ( There is a harsh bare ass, face it energy to this archtype...so....).
Making the video was fun and definitly inspiring. Jeff Beck is awesome, and this song really seemed to work as a focus that didn't make me want to sleep. Just relaxed.

The Higher Self (6)/ the Heart/ the Soul

I call my guides and guardians my Gang. And a few years ago on my journey I named my Higher Self ‘Cool’ the opposite of my personality, lol, so Cool and the Gang! I love Hollywood Swinging, when I listen to it; it’s our Meet up song. My Gang has an awesome sense of humor!!

For example…as I type this, the Royal Wedding has just wrapped up and all craziness is breaking loose in England. One of the traditional associations with the Seat of the Soul, or The Higher Self (6) is the Wedding of the Unredeemed Self or the Personal Self, often called the Bride, and the Higher Self or Soul or Groom.

What a lovely reminder of my journey this week, learning what it takes for my wedding to take place, Faith TRUST and Love.

This week has been enlightening to say the least. The Journey to the Higher Self, meeting your soul. When I look back, to see how I’ve come to this place I am amazed. Knowing that the Macro is reflected in the Micro is one thing; AWARENESS of its presence is something else entirely.

Things I haven’t been able to find around the house, things that matter to me, have suddenly reappeared, or rather my perspective is such that I was able to see them as I couldn’t before, all the things I have cultivated in my past have returned as I move to the precipice of the Soul.

Last weeks lessons with my Artists page on facebook really surrounded preconceived ideas about self, validation, and expression and Ego.

This week continues with my efforts to create a second page, for public viewing, and interacting. The Fan page is great, but it still puts you on a pedestal. I like to communicate, exchange, and I think people enjoy feeling like they can interact with you, especially on subjects relating to light and energy. Of course the page didn’t get created without its share of difficulties…for now, it’s especially confusing for folks, as I cannot use a title on my page, so must use the same name. And ignore friend requests on my original page…There was also the creation of a Twitter account in my week of the Thinking self, all leading to Why I created them in the first place, and what I really hoped to gain from creating what I have.

And coincidently ;> the main theme for personal growth when visiting the Higher Self is the False Self, or Ego. The three Sephiroth that lead our from the Personal Self (10) or Malkuth, up into the tree, also serve as vehicles for the souls expression and allow us to open up to its love. It is via our Subconscious Self (9), Thinking Self (8) and the Feeling Self (7) that we find ourselves at the heart of the Tree.

One thing that is unanimous when looking at the Tree is that each sphere is just as holy as the next. Each with its own Mystery to share and impart to us. The mysteries of the Soul and Spirit levels of the Tree are just as important as the Personal ones. They all contribute to its ultimate expression from the Human Being. The mysteries of Tiphareth or the Higher Self begin to give us a glimpse of the higher lessons. The lessons of sacrifices and letting go. We are taught by the society we live in what to value in life. And the Higher lessons get a bad wrap as they ask us to let go of what we THINK or FEEL we Know about life and the reality of it. The lessons of spirit are quite different than we are taught to appreciate in our lives, they generally don’t SEEM at first comprehensible to the Personal Self. From the seat of the Soul though, we are able to translate more readily the impulses of our Inner Divine Spark.

This is why in the quest for self discovery; we need to meet ourselves half way.

On a side note, one of my dear Facebook friends posted a video clip from the movie ‘Meeting John Malkovich’ in regards to my double life on the pages. In the clip, John has gone through the tunnel of his inner self and sees only his face on everyone he sees. I had a great big Buddha belly laugh, it totally made my day! Laughter is the greatest gift!!!

It heals so effortless, it’s like when you laugh your molecules get a break from your conscious direction and are able to reorganize themselves according to the Universal Principal while you are laughing.

There is even a form of Yoga (featured on Oprah some time ago, her makeup artist went) where you deliberately laugh, with others. I do this daily with my two kids; life at home can suck the laughter out of your day sometime. So we laugh on purpose. The baby really likes this, so we must be doing it right. LOL!

What this week helped in so far as my NEXT step is concerned, was that realization that Reiki Healing Art is a calling for me. I have always channeled my spirit with my Art. There was no way around that, I don’t do art because I want to make an income from it, I do it because it keeps me balanced, happy and energized. There in is one of my Soul lessons this week, when I create my Reiki Healing Images or my Reiki Room Re-Energizers; I am channeling Unconditional love, the Universal light, not just the one I perceive in myself. The Ego is by-passed and I am open and clear as I channel. There is no reason to keep this extra energy in reserve any more; I am always connected always able to open up to light. With or without Reiki we are all able to realize this, but for me on my journey, Reiki helped find the missing puzzle pieces. (It’s been a bit difficult to sleep, because I want to make more. But I am old enough and able to appreciate patience.)

I have also started to play with a new form of Light Craft, using sacred star geometry, and this week’s template began with the 6pointed star. It is also the Star included as a charging station in my Reiki Room Re-Energizers. According to David Cousins (Hand book for light workers) the six pointed star is excellent for catching and transmuting negative or slow frequency energy in a space. If placed under sea salt each granule will be imprinted with the coding in the 6pointed star and also be effective in neutralizing low frequency energy. It has been a lot of fun!! Who knew work could be fun? Lol!

I do really aspire to work with Corporate Offices, Dentists, Doctors, Schools, Daycares, anywhere where people have to wait, Art has always crossed those invisible boundaries created by our ego’s, and go straight to the viewers heart and imagination. Some Reiki Artists use the symbols, I have chosen to respect their mystery and though they are definitely in the image in the layering, they are not the image. The image opens up your heart so that the Reiki imbedded in it can reach out to you and enhance your bodies own natural impulse to Heal itself. I have even asked my husband (natural born sales man) how we can approach Buyers for corporations, to include Reiki Healing Art/ Images in offices. I find waiting rooms to be a kind of nowhere land, more akin to the experiences in the Knowing Self (11) or Daath the non sphere on the Tree of Life. The Art of the soul in those limbo rooms would do a lot to help raise our vibration. And pay that healing forward.

In the workshop I created for Introduction to the Tree of life, we are learning to listen and rely and stand upon our Own Inner compass and by doing this we enable our fellow man to do so as well. By healing myself by practicing my Art, I offer the gift of healing to others if they are open to receiving it.

Put it on your coffee mug to carry that energy to work, or a screen saver for your work computer, or as wall paper for your Cell phone. Once you have the image, it’s yours to apply. The resolution of the image is high enough I believe that you can make a poster from it. All most ALL of my work is made with that size in mind, poster.

At the precipice of the Soul, I gaze ahead full of potential and the realization that when I trust my process and go with the flow inspired in my Heart, I walk the path of my Spirit. And there really is no sacrifice. I no longer wish to distract myself from life, rather I would let go and follow where love leads.

All I love stands to benefit from this. Peace be within you, and also within me.

The more we choose to recognize the peace and light in one another, especially those that challenge us, the more we grow and extend ourselves to the light of our spirit.

The Feeling Self

With this holiday season now on us, the lessons of the 7th Archetype, the Feeling Self, color everything. I learned recently that I had taken for granted the difference between Emotions and feelings. For some this might seem a bit obvious a difference, but not to me. They always seemed to come together. Having learnt the difference, just in time to go through it with my eldest. She and I are a great deal alike. Just ask my husband. And she mirrors my everything. So she too had a Feeling week. She informed me that she didn’t want to go to high school any more as it was making her head explode. ??? she is 4. But this is the world of four year old feelings. And it was high time I reminded myself to BE the parent in this department, and help her understand how to handle the two aspects of herself. A LOT of talking, and follow through. But it’s the talking the sharing of the situation that helps her to process what she is feeling vs how she is reacting.

It’s a work in progress. It was fuel for my creative fire. In anticipation of being a profile artist at OurPsychicArt among great company, I have been fine tuning my raison d’être, Reiki Healing Art.

I found an outlet for what makes me tick, yay! Combining Reiki healing and Art. I would love to be able to blow it up poster size and donate images to dentist offices, doctor’s offices, hospital waiting rooms, clinics, the children’s hospital, you name it.

It helped me to process my own strong feelings this week, about who I see myself to be. The Feeling Self (7) is a reflection of its diagonal opposite of the Restrained Self (5) on the Tree of Life. So it has some very revealing type of signature to its experiences. We can learn with this archetype to identify when we are projecting our ideals, wants and desires onto the shoulders of another, generally those we have strong feelings for, loved ones. I have known my husband for 10 years now. And we have grown and learnt a great deal about shattered illusions of preconceived ideas. LOL. Parenthood is truly a great mystery one is initiated into. But this also applies to feelings about one’s place in the world, even world peace. The true meaning of these things can be very raw in a certain way. Beauty is a glittering bright light. It shines through nature and man, in Art, Music, Poetry, Song, and Rhyme. We all resonate to what moves us, what inspires strong feelings in us.

In the pursuit of betterment of self, learning to find balance between the Thinking Self and the Feeling Self is an important personal lesson. It is symbolized best by the Tarot card the Tower. Finding the right balance to channel that inner light. For me it’s the combination of daily channeling via Reiki into my artwork. I use all of my own imagery. I don’t cut from anyone else.

The process begins with prayer and invoking the Universal light energy present in all reality. Then bringing it in, I take up the camera and go outside. Of late my garden Buddha has been very inspiring! And the AHA moment that came when I made the first RIGHT image, was pure VICTORY! (Very Netzach) And I can’t stop, I think I am making them in my sleep, but it’s a good rhythm, not excessive. Tempered by the healing that happens to me while I work. It’s also been a complete joy as parent to have a child request energy healing 3 nights running. I know it’s just my Time she is after, but I can’t think of a better way to spend some down time.

My husband has an excellent sense of humour! This has made me laugh all week!!

Bought a new note book for all the information coming my way, didn't like orange first but, now its seems totally appropriate as one of the colors related to the sphere is Orange.

Spent last week playing keep away with my eldest so she wouldn't mark up my ancient copy of Alice in Wonderland, it includes the Through the looking Glass too! Apropriate last week as we were studing the 9th archetype of the Subconcious self, which Alice's trip down the rabbit hole is all about!

The Alchemy of the Everyday or WHAT!

As within so without…

Staying true to observing the Alchemy of the Everyday, we have moved into the realm of the Thinking Self (Hod). As a creator of an Oracling deck, I can tell you, names are the darndest thing. Every time I rework a paragraph suddenly a new anachronism for that archetype pops into mind. The tree truly grows, and shifts within, with each new experience with each archetype. Words, language, symbols, books all relate to this spheres energy. And this week has seen this archetype energies presented within the reality that is my life. Inundated with its energies!

At what feels like Warp speed, suddenly, I am writing a business proposal, aware of thoughts that do not benefit the now and letting them go, created a Twitter account (what could be more Hod than Twitter, its all words and thoughts that are being shared, communication networks, social networks…) loaded some workshop videos to YouTube and am now engaged in applying for a grant and looking at getting a web site going to help provide the means for me to;

- stay at home with my kids

- earn an income doing something I love. Art and creating.

- Daily Oracling and Reiki sessions, for myself and the art. And this last one is really the most important of all.

The future is now, and right now what I need most to continue to walk confidently in the direction of my dreams is a routine that enables me to include what nourishes my soul, Oracling and healing arts. I have been meditating more regularly, arguably almost exclusively in active form. As even at night I am still on demand for my youngest. I manage to apply Reiki during those late nights or just inner silence, which 20 years ago would have seemed so wrong and boring is now so essential…oh the irony. Sacred geometry and language, how the music on a page can be translated, has drawn my attention. Translation, of information, Packages of information within the dimensions of geometric language. How Reiki can work along with star or sacred geometry within the art that I am able to produce with the resources in front of me, for free.

I learnt during the week with my Subconscious Self (Yesod) how Art can act as a channel for balancing my inner world and aligning myself with my Higher Self (Soul/ Tiphareth). This step took me to the next meaningful step for me, and brought me to the thinking self, the next piece of the puzzle. My next experience is now with the thinking self, already the touches of Fridays Feelings self are coloring the world. So I am writing to catch the last full bits of my experience with the thinking self before I loose it. This is why I am psyched about offering workshops the opportunity to repeat this experiment as often as necessary. To continue to grow as the tree a living oracle in its own right grows.

I also leant to go about manifesting these Ideas. The Thinking Self, the thoughtful self, has opened me up to receiving intuitive promptings and synchronistic ‘meets’ and ‘tweets’ on Face book and Twitter. You tube has allowed me to see more objectively the impact and needs of my Oracling workshop.

As excited and enthusiastic as I am concerning my future, riding along side neck and neck is my feelings about putting myself out there. And letting go of thinking I can control how any one sees me. Really and truly, ask yourself, when you get yourself together to go out, who are you thinking of? And honestly do you really believe that your thoughts matter, that you can even try and Know what and how someone sees, and then how someone sees you. Dr. Wayne Dyer says that “Your opinion of me is really none of my business.” When my personal self or egoic self sees that it freaks right out and that inner channel gets sharp and fuzzy. All those self doubts and non constructive thoughts slashing around. Stirring up strong feelings about purpose, truth and what I really am after, and not what I THINK I am after, which in turn kicks up the stored repressed issues in my subconscious concerning self worth, and a nice case of the “who do you think you are anyways”. I have been Reiki’ing my head off, and it has helped immensely for me to see that I still put my inner baggage before truth.

A Course in Miracles seems to resonate with this spheres energy, it resonates with the whole tree really, but in the light of the Thinking Self, it helps illuminate that mistake we all make. We meet or come across a Holy Instant or AHA Moment, or opportunity for growth, and we are happy and ready to meet it, but out of seemingly no where ( subconscious self) our ego’s sack of many setbacks is in our hands and on the ground before the opportunity messing things up. So to take a cue from the ACIM,

“Lesson 23 “I can escape from the world I see by giving up attack thoughts.”

The idea for today contains the only way out of fear that will ever succeed. Nothing else will work; everything else is meaningless. But this way cannot fail. Every thought you have makes up some segment of the world you see. It is with your thoughts, then, that we must work, if your perception of the world is to be changed.” Pg 34 Workbook for Students ACIM.

You all should know, I went upstairs to grab my copy of ACIM so I could include a totally different passage. But opened the course to this lesson. At first passing, there was a struggle as I wanted to not follow the Silent Voice along this new path, I thought “ nah this doesn’t quite say what I want about the thinking self.” HOWEVER now that both kids are down napping and I am typing the words from the text a Miracle, lol, it most certainly says EVERYTHING about the Thinking self that I am able to grasp. And offers more, peace and truth. I am always grateful when I realize that my Higher Self or my soul was able to come through my personal self and leave that touch of transformation for me in my everyday.

Tuning into the Silent self (3)/ Binah on the Tree of Life

IF I can say I absolutely believe in anything theory wise, it’s that “your focus is your reality” – from one of the star wars movies. It was a Jedi in any case, the one that found Darth as a kid or Anakin. Back to my point, my focus indeed is my reality these days. Perhaps due to some major mental house cleaning, pruning back thoughts and ideas that have nothing to do with what is in front of me currently. Note- I don’t say meaningful, just not thinking about things that have nothing to do with the Now, or that Present Moment. It doesn’t mean like I once would have imagined, some weird anti climactic idleness or lack of direction. Rather it is a sharpening of focus. I am still open minded, I am aware that my Higher Self has my conscious permission to get my damn attention by any means necessary. (Suggested in Sonia Choquette’s awesome workbook, Your Hearts Desire.) But I am not being a control freak about addressing everything my mind spits out at me, alot of it has nothing to do with now. In fact most of what we are upset about has nothing to do with Reality. A Course in Miracles is an amazing tool for personal growth. There is a lesson where you repeat that -" I am never upset for the resons I think I am." it really helps you stop making some things more reason to be upset over than others, its all the same, let it all go. Most of us have so much clogging our subconcious that are just acting out all the time, those soundless voices of old outmoded conditioning and bad habits playing out following the easiest rout to do so. For me its verbal. So for me choosing above all the NOW helps me to decicivly iliminate thoughts that aren't Spirit focused or at least bettering the moment.

The subconscious self is so very literal that any ‘I AM’ thoughts can be very life changing…especially if the negative low vibe loop tape has been running on repeat for a while…we all have those moments. Then you catch yourself and pull up! That was today. Reminding myself this morning as I struggled to keep a grip on a runaway temper, some subconscious ‘poor me’ was leaking out. Or in Tolle language, my Pain Body was in the front seat running things. NOT PLEASANT!

I finally heard myself and what I was saying and how I was behaving, short, frustrated, irritable..Come to mind. And my kids needed time and attention, but my computer illiteracy had caught up with me, and the brick wall I had hit seemed like such a big deal in that moment. However when we all bundled up, me, 4yr old, 6mth old, and Doberman to go for a walk in the spring sun, sanity reasserted itself. And I opened up to the wisdom held by my Silent Self (3rd of the archetypes on the Tree of Life also known traditionally as Binah) and had a good eye opener. I needed to just find silence. The ultimate discipline for me. Mental and emotional silence for a time. Despite what ever craziness was ensuing at my feet. To just pull up my big girl panties and just DO IT DAMN IT. Both kids are napping now, and I am actually at peace with my journey into my Silent Self. The Great Mother above the abyss. Trust. Faith, in listening to the wisdom I am constantly begging to walk with, that is coming in all the time. There is no such thing as time, every thing is really just fine the way it is. I don’t need to want to change the moment to suit myself. If I release that vice grip on my life’s steering wheel for second and stretch my fingers, I can see and feel how tightly I am clinging to everything. Only through the exhale or release can you see the strength of what you were holding on to. And for no good reason. Just habit, which is what exploring the subconscious overall this week has been about. Seeing how my inner machinery is functioning. Today’s Oracling session didn’t happen after a lovely meditation, or even now, while the kids are sleeping which is really the perfect time. The illuminated moment came during a fit by the baby a dog over zealously dragging the leash to smell everything, and a 4yr old who has the energy of a football team freaking out to just find our rhythm on the walk. We did find it though, we did return to balance, and it was done with love and forgiveness and learning. What more can I ask for? There really is no point demanding a cure from the Universe when all you really desire is relief. Face it and let that life task or Karma work itself out, finally allowing light to shine out from that former dark hole in your soul. We are all souls on a journey of filling those holes, so that we can one day know how it feels to be whole. Isn’t there a Beatles song? Fixing a hole where the rain gets in, to keep my mind from wandering...where it will go….where it will go…

So for now, with me and parenthoods usual gripes, mum’s the word.

The Subconcious Self

Busy times…

Ask and ye shall receive so the old saying goes.

I am currently revising and going through a trial run for my workshop for working with the tree of Life. We are going to explore the 11 Spheres over the next 11 weeks. Currently we have moved from the 10th to the 9th spheres. I am enjoying watching the energies of each sphere guide my attention in my life, towards my family, habits, and attitudes about my life in general. I have learnt a lot just by being me, a lesson of Malkuth.

It’s a validation I didn’t expect really. I love surprises so it all works out, The Alchemy of the Everyday. I have been feeling much more creative this year, and am happy for it. Yesterday, I explored how to combine the Yesodic energies with art, as this was the reading for Friday. In the Workshop I teach a two part process. One part the card pulled the other, what your heart says. This enables you to start really standing on your own two feet and exercise independence (a virtue for Yesod) and Self Trust. Friday’s reading was Yesod and “Art”, for me.

This sphere, the ninth, represents the Subconscious and needs expression or release for balance. I have always enjoyed making Art, being a starving Artist however doesn’t appeal to my taste. Every so often I NEED to make something, my subconscious needs expression. If I don’t give vent to it in some fashion, I can be hard to live with.

It’s a high of sorts, everything is clear, and my mind stills when I create any project. It’s my zone. This is also the root of my concern about creating waste. Art isn’t waste, but making for the sake of making…isn’t right. So what I make of late needs to have a purpose. Or be useful in some way, including art. And Art that Heals seems to fit the bill. Incorporating Reiki, in the construction helps reinforce my channel with my Higher Self or Soul, as well as heal my imbalances, it also stimulates me to work with my immediate family. This is a constant aim for me, to enjoy what stimulates me mentally and share that joy with my family. I feel that there are reasons to sacrifice time with family for my art…the two mutually enhance one another. And can indeed work in tandem, and the best way to go about discovering what makes them work is actually just trusting in the impulses of my soul and the synchronicity of life. Patience plays a rather large role in it, kids teach you patience. Instead of pulling back from whatever situation is manifesting, which generally creates an argument or some situation where no one is happy. I now try to accept what ever is going on, go with it, and then I actually come across a perfect opportunity to do what it is I wanted anyway.

So of late my interest has surrounded, sound healing, distance Reiki, crystals, stars for meditation tools, spirals (associated with Healing energies.) and Orgone, or Orgone crystals.

How to make them, what makes Orgonite special?

I finally got to enjoy one up close at the Spirit Seekers Conference in Winnipeg last month. And held a pyramid generator and a puck. Really amazing creations. So how can I make some?

Art and the subconscious, being the general direction. Keep in mind I have to do what moves me, among what moves others. My daughter’s interests echo mine presently, so she wants to do what ever mom is doing, and my 6mth old is just with us most of the time. Anything I want to do has to be done with them. Rather than fight (goes against my aims…) I just go with it. And modify my idea so they can be around. These are my parameters of my experiment with Self. Or living out the Alchemy of everyday.

So unable to quell my impatience and unwilling to admit defeat due to lack of funds. I dug out my glue gun, bought sparkles in 4 colors and glue sticks, and copper pot scrubbers, found some coarse crystal sea salt and some gold and silver wire, and bath oil and non stick vegetable oil cooking spray.

After a lot of trial and error I found a formula that works for me. Spray with cooking spray surface of what ever you are going to use the glue on. Then lay down some salt, copper wire, and gold or silver wire spiral, and then form your glue shape over top. Or if you have a small enough molds for play dough or cookie cutting that works as well. Try not to layer the glue as it becomes opaque with each layer, the thinner the clearer. (I am looking into other ways to use glue or just save enough for Acrylic Resin) As I laid the salt (for protection/ warding of negative energies), copper; conductor of energy, the spiral shaped silver or gold wire (healing energies) and sparkles (because they sparkle) I applied the Art of Reiki and beamed the pieces as I worked to imbue it with unconditional love, or spiritually guided life energy.

I think they will work great in the project I have in mind, working with 3-10 pointed stars and picture frames as a type of Orgonite, or energy converter in a home or room, especially when placed in a sunny window. I have some trial and error a head of me, but am enthusiastic to try. Especially since I had the presence of mind last night to go with the flow, and ended up doing Reiki on my kids, myself and even my husband. This is something I desire to do, but never seem to find the time. When I just let things play out and stay mindful, the time doesn’t really matter. I would say working with Yesod and Art, at first may have sounded very abstract, in the end was very much my next step in life, the direction with the most meaning for all the aspects of my life. I feel that this is due to working through the workshop with my friends; the validation I feel isn’t anti climactic, but a really nice mellow burn. It’s a good place to share myself from. Energy and distance...

Still plugging away on my workbook. And enjoying the process. There are plenty of holdups during the process, but each one leaves me with a deeper perspective of my life. So I think I can learn to be patient and apprecitate interuptions. In my efforts to enjoy Parenthood despite its sometimes loop tape vibe, ( same stuff different day..) I have begun to notice that I like getting some Energy work excercise by practicing Reiki with my animals, and family. My youngest has been especially helpfull. His need to eat, and sleep less, enabled me to embrace Reiki during our late night feedings. I am saying this nicely, but those first few weeks, were sanity hadn't yet set back in, I was pretty cranky. Again most likely glossing over, you would have to ask my husband.
I feel better for the restoring properties of Reiki flow. There is the immediate benifit of letting go of the negative thoughts that are currently feeding the bad mood. Then there is the gentle correction of your energy and feild of intention. By the time I actually am passing the current along, and feeling its slight fuzzy tingle, I can feel space around me and in me to think and appreciate my role as mom, it won't always be this simple. Walking my walk, has also opened me up to Sychronistic moments in life. And the other morning via facebook a friend was trying out some kind of crystal energy transmitter. He needed a guinea pig, I was game. Truly it was a great experience. Conciously opening up to recieving said energy. Be carefull who you do this with. Some people are just that messed up that they would send harmfull energy. Knowing this wasn't the case, giving trust some space, made for a great connection. And since I chose Quartz crystal and the heart chakras as areas of concentration, I paid attention to them physicaly. So enjoyed a feeling of light from my body two feet out, and a great woosh in my chest. Where I had felt a 'black hole' type of sensation prior to him sending energy.
I think now in this day and age, Science has broadened its scope, into the spiritual sciences and helps us overcome the idea that time or distance matter. For me it isn't a pipe dream that energy can follow thought. I see it all the time. So healing energy too, won't miss its target, especially an open one. Did I float on clouds, no, did I feel better, yes. I remained more aware of that inner connection to energy through love, the heart chakra is the best way to vitalize my body and my life. Not ranting and raving and experiencing poor me thoughts, and passive aggressive behavior, lol!
Reiki works over time and distance. And with its unconditional vibe helps heal a great deal. I have myself visited my past through memories and sent myself Reiki during traumatic events, and periods of confusion or sadness. And can say I feel that those traumas weren't as destructive as they could have been, because of my efforts. That time is an illusion, so why not? Its the me NOW that matters, regardless of the emphasis of society on carrying around a perfect record... So receiving energy long distances doesn't seem so far fetched. Quantum physics supports the idea that human thought affects reality. And we see what we expect to see. So I receive what I expect to recieve. Generally though the subconcious is so littered with repressed events that I am a bit blind to my expectations. And can be surprised by the results of getting what I think I want. Life really is what you make of it.
I am greatfull for the education of energy healing, it helps keep me connected to my Higher Self and to pass that on to my kids. And is a healthy alternative to frustration and exhaustion.

I am both the scientist and the experiment in my life.

Subconcious Slip Ups....

I have to laugh.
I am truly amazed , how effective the reinforcing of my interest in making a space in my life for Spirit to manifest has been in actually manifesting it. I am at the very least more aware of the process and am eternaly grateful for even the smallest wake up call.
I am still finishing up the final editing stages of my Workbook. And am currently over viewing the sacred geometry associated with the Tree of Life. And the diagram I had found didn’t include one for Daath, or the sphere of knowledge on the Tree. So I googled it and found some great info. But it wasn’t the simple geometry I was looking for to use on the Cards. ( The Cards included in the book) Back to the books. Gareth Knight has given us a great gift in his Practical Guide to the Qabala, Vol 1 and 2. Prism is listed among the symbols, which rang a bell for me. This is simple enough to produce as a line drawing and convey the ancient association. I scanned the page then to the Vice and Virtue section. There really are no vice and virtues, just the behavior a human will exhibit when the energies of the sphere aren’t integrating well into the personality. There, in bold lettering was Confidence in the Future….AHA!

Until that moment I knew that I hadn’t yet written or even included in the Text the one sphere so hotly debated, but so definitely a overtone of the world today! Globally Daath energies are integrating. Through all the turmoil and chaos, via war, earthquakes, Tsunami’s Nuclear Reactor leaks…our Confidence in the future. Mine was in need of a Closer look and attention, as I was now Aware that I hadn’t included Daath in the text. Daath for me is the Sphere that symbolizes Knowledge and Knowing. That confidence that comes from conversation with the Soul. That connection, that awareness or knowing that the Universe has your back. Even though it seems like its still going to hell in a hand basket. WhaBAM! Message received. Some of my procrastination could definitely be seen in the light of delaying to integrate the energies of Daath. Especially in relation to my project. Detachment is also listed in the Virtues. But not in the sense that I had been manifesting it. I was committed to my work book, but hadn’t yet fully connected to it. I had still been detached on an emotional and inner level due to fear of failure and lack of self confidence. I didn’t completely trust my self and what I was imparting. Doubt of the future, Apathy, Inertia, Cowardice or fear of the future and pride round up the vices.

The symbol that I will take with me into a meditation for Daath is the Sacred Mountain of any race. The empty room.

So some days my everyday alchemy is in the outward processes, and others its completely internal. As in the case of the Missing Daath. Trusting in the process, my process or my path having faith in my internal connections to remain enthusiastic about the future. From the present moment, rather than the shallows of a survival mode mentality. Celebrate the now, and watch it manifest in the future. Yesterday my daughter announced that today we were having a celebration. ( To which my initial thought was, What? No!) But on second thought, said, “ Oh Really?” what are we celebrating. To which she gave her 4 year old story telling abilities. “ We will celebrate and have people and food and it will be great!”

“ Ok!”

Who needs a reason to rejoice in the now? For its in the NOW that the future lives. Without it, the future would be a barren and fruitless seeming place, its about perspective.

Right now my preschooler is asking “ where is the love, the hugging and the rocking”, my kids have saved my life. Hugging loving and rocking, participating in my life, finding my footing in the now, and seeing it steady as I go. And helping me renew my confidence in my future, despite the world stage, as well as finaly helping me to move past the block that was holding up the Chapter on the Knowing Self or Daath. The archtype for the New Age.

I can't think of a better way to start this blog off. What an amazing lecture! I think I missed my calling..oh well, someday maybe I could just audit the classes. Popcorn in hand. :)
I recently attended Manitoba's 3rd Annual Spirit Seekers Conference, and among the various classes took a Sound Healing Class from Shauna Sperry. She had in her tool kit, Crystal Chakra singing bowls, Tibetan Singing bowls (metal) , tuning forks used for energy healing and ones you apply directly to the body. Amazing class, the sounds were intense. I am hooked! I am excited to explore the subject of Sound Healing, from Chakras, to incorporating it into Reiki ( level 2), to what happens when you play the complimentary bowls for two chakras? For example red and green, the root chakra and the Heart Chakra? Each chakra vibrates to a note on the music scale, how do we sound? I was amped up and am ready to google my head off. And the Universe is backing me, helping me through synchronicity to find new and exciting information on Sound and its effects on everything from the Outer world, our environment, to our inner world, the world of mind, and soul. The Alchemy of the Everyday, where you are both the Scientist or Alchemist and the Experiment, or the Lower self rising to your soul to hear its wisdom.
Among the many new and interesting lines of thought for me to pursue, idea of the perfect healing frequency, 528Hz, of the golden mean of sound. To seeing just how we as Humans as created beings from a living Universe, rich in sound and dance, project this reality, this truth of sound in our lives. The Logos, the Word, the Universal Soundtrack. How do we subconsciously sing back to it? With words, with language, with singing, humming, with instruments, our own bodies or man made or even nature made.
We are experiencing Everyday Alchemy...everyday. The Hermetic Axiom, " As above so below." , as within so without. Its amazing when old and new science correlate to reveal a small glimmer of reality, as we don't know it. Only when WE are still inside can we even begin to learn to listen to the Universe. And most of us are a long way from the kind of silence you need to pick up that pulse beat, not just in the real world, but also the inner world. At least I can admit it, most days...I think our breath and heartbeats have long been key in finding our way to a higher hearing.
Janna Levin takes a very abstract difficult subject and delivers it in terms we can see and understand and relate to. The actual sound two black holes make as they merge, echos many sounds we already identify with. A pulse beat comes to mind. And just like an Cardiogram maps visually the beat and strength of the heart beat on a monitor, so do can science shed some light on the patterns and waves this pulsing creates on and in space. A sound that we can also listen to. Particles and waves, make the Universe, on so many levels.
The tree of life, looks like a general map of the idea of the big bang. And learning its language might reveal something of the language of the spheres, or planets...
My workbook ( final stages of editing) centers around the idea that there is an Inner connection with the ancient glyph, that it draws out for us. It is an inner language. One you can learn to use. One that can help you hear and act with the grace of your own soul, a soul that vibrates to the sound of the Universe. To light.
The personal self can speak with the Soul self, and bring that wisdom and love into reality as we see it. And perhaps enable others to catch a glimmer of what Reality really looks like. Janna helped us see that Science shows this truth. The wonder of black holes teaching us about relativity, of space and light and of the soundtrack of the Universe. Its song etched within its every molecule, ours included. How are black holes reflected in our inner landscapes? What behavior mimics this cosmic reality? Is there even such a thing.
We will see. Ask and ye shall receive goes that old saying.
And even though I am primarily a stay at home mom, that doesn't mean the Universe doesn't meet me at my doorstep everyday. I can hear its beat in my baby's heart in my preschoolers chatter and the thumping of her feet from her room when she should be napping...so that momma can shut her mind down long enough to hear her own heart beat and thoughts. Oh, never mind the baby is awake. :)
